Sources, corrections and independence
Sources and corrections
- Primary sources
- Every piece starts from the vendor's own documentation, release notes, pricing pages and changelogs, and lists them at the end. Nothing is rewritten from other outlets.
- Explainers, not reviews
- Pieces explain what changed and what it means. They don't give verdicts or scores, and never say a tool was tried when it wasn't.
- Corrections
- Mistakes are fixed on the page with a note saying what changed. Vendors and readers are welcome to send corrections with a source.
Independence
- No sponsors, no affiliate links
- Nobody pays for coverage: no vendor can buy a piece, a ranking or a mention, and no link earns a commission. If that ever changes, it will be labelled where it happens.
- No selling here
- The Outflow is a blog by Callum Cunningham, who also runs a client studio, Cunningham Studio. This site doesn't promote it and carries no calls to action for it.
